Mindfulness, Meditation & Manifestation:
A Group for African-American Women
In today’s world, safe spaces for African-American people are increasingly needed in order to promote sharing, healing, and growth—both individually and collectively. As a result, I have started a new group with that specific goal in mind, to create and hold space for African-American women who want to learn strategies for self-care and emotional growth.
One key to maintaining your emotional well-being is to incorporate the practice of mindfulness and meditation into your everyday routine. If you have ever been curious about the concepts of mindfulness or meditation, this group will teach you practical ways of applying them to your daily life. These techniques will help you restore emotional balance, be more fully present in your life, and set the stage for taking active steps toward meaningful change.
The class meets the first Saturday each month from 10:00 am-11:30 am. Bring a journal, an open mind, and an open heart. Embarking on this journey of mindfulness, self-care and self-discovery will lead you to a life filled with intention and purpose.
